The list of symptoms is long, including climate crisis, wars, hypertourism, increasingly blurred boundaries between the real and the artificial.<br>\nIn the contemporary art scene, irony is a fundamental tool for interpreting reality and building a dialogue between the individual and society. The <em>MONDOpatia<\/em> project &ndash; organised by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stazionearte.com\" rel=\"noopener\">Stazione Arte Contemporary<\/a> at Teatri di Vita Studio &ndash; embodies this vision, presenting works that deal with the complexity of existence with lightness and depth at the same time.<br>\nAs the curators, Giovanni Busacca and Valerio Deh&ograve;, emphasise, the participating artists mix different techniques and media to render pop images of everyday madness, rich in meaning and utopias.<\/p>\n<p>There is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mistichenutelle.eu\/oscar-baccilieri\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Oscar Baccilieri<\/strong><\/a> who transforms sandpaper discs into neo-pop mosaics, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mistichenutelle.eu\/vittorio-brocadello\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Vittorio Dario Brocadello<\/strong><\/a> plays with calembour and the concept of souvenirs, reinterpreting symbols and everyday objects. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mistichenutelle.eu\/mauro-luccarini\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Mauro Luccarini<\/strong><\/a>, with his works inspired by musical imagery, constructs a visual soundtrack of contemporary experience, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mistichenutelle.eu\/maurizio-mantovi\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Maurizio Mantovi<\/strong><\/a> with <em>Pax in Terrae<\/em> creates a dialogue between art history, peace and conflict.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_69317\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-69317\" style=\"width: 960px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-69317\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vernicirioverde.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/mondopatia_3.jpeg\" alt=\"Tre opere (a sinistra: di Vittorio Dario Brocadello e di Emiliano Salvetti; Dream&rsquo;, by Ernesto Jannini, hardware and acrylic on panel, 2018.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ernestojannini.it\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Ernesto Jannini<\/strong><\/a> explores the relationship between reality and virtuality, anticipating trends related to the reuse and reinterpretation of reality. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/francesco_garbelli\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Francesco Garbelli<\/strong><\/a>, on the other hand, reworks the language of road signs to address crucial social issues, from ecology to the extinction of the human race. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stazionearte.com\/emiliano-salvetti\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Emiliano Salvetti<\/strong><\/a> projects the Freudian concept of the <em>Super-Ego<\/em> through the figure of Superman, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.michelerigoni.it\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Michele Rigoni<\/strong><\/a> proposes an intimate journey into the father-son relationship with a work with a strong autobiographical component.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mistichenutelle.eu\/adriano-tetti\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Adriano Tetti<\/strong><\/a> reflects on man-woman relationships through the use of ceramics that rework everyday objects, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stefanoperuzy.com\/#navigation\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Stefano Peruzy<\/strong><\/a> is inspired by Neapolitan culture with a work that recalls Tot&ograve; says the artist-craftsman, an <a href=\"https:\/\/renneritalia.com\/le-icone-pop-del-tennis-di-cut-si-colorano-di-renner-a-palermo\/\" rel=\"noopener\">old acquaintance of Renner Italia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Renner is also the protagonist of the project <em>A new dawn<\/em> by photographer <a href=\"https:\/\/erikmessori.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Erik Messori<\/strong><\/a>, a reportage on migratory flows through the story of the <a href=\"https:\/\/renneritalia.com\/welfare\/\" rel=\"noopener\">large mural created by Laika<\/a> with our paints on the Renner Italia plant in Minerbio.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"noeyes-geometrie-colori-e-vernici-evolution\" class=\"anchor\">Noeyes: geometries, colours and&hellip; realised on canvas as well as on walls or on shutters along the streets, effectively making cities a living, open-air museum &ndash; reminds us of the complexity of the world.<\/p>\n<p>At <em>MONDOpatia<\/em>, the street artist &ndash; in addition to exhibiting her canvas <em>Mezzo mare &egrave; lacrima (Half the Sea is a Tear<\/em> ) &ndash; was also the protagonist of a <em>live painting<\/em> performance that saw her at work with paints from Rio Verde&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vernicirioverde.it\/vernice-per-legno-prodotti\/rn20xx\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Evolution<\/strong><\/a> line on a wooden support.<\/p>\n<p>For the occasion, we met her and asked her a few questions.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"noeyes-geometrie-colori-e-vernici-evolution\" class=\"anchor\">Interview with Noeyes<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_69327\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-69327\" style=\"width: 960px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-69327\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vernicirioverde.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/mondopatia_5.jpeg\" alt=\"La street artist Noeyes sta lavorando con le vernici Evolution di Rio Verde durante un live painting nel corso della mostra MONDOpatia, durante Art City, a Bologna\" width=\"960\" height=\"625\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vernicirioverde.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/mondopatia_5.jpeg 960w, https:\/\/www.vernicirioverde.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/mondopatia_5-300x195.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.vernicirioverde.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/mondopatia_5-768x500.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-69327\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Noeyes at work with Rio Verde&rsquo;s Evolution line of paints<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Had you ever worked with Evolution paints?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No, not so far. In terms of spreading, they are very good. As a substrate, I used untreated wood and, as I had little time, I simply used a base coat of white as a primer to block the pores of the surface.<br>\nWith Evolution, I only needed a couple of coats. In this case I had a limited range of colours available. My work is based on chromatology, and from the ready-made colours I was quickly able to pull out more. Of course, one could do a lot of them.<br>\nI work mainly on walls, with brushes. And I am curious to try them there too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do you get on with water-based paints?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have used many brands of water-based paint, and in this case I was pleasantly impressed: Evolution is odourless, has a very good yield and, as I said, spreads very well. And then I noticed a detail that might seem small, but isn&rsquo;t: if you mix different colours together to get another one, if you leave the paint there to rest, then you just have to stir it a little to get the exact same tone. With other brands this often does not happen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Asking people who work with colours on a daily basis what their favourite is is a meaningless question, we know. But we ask you anyway: do you have a favourite colour?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I use orange a lot in my work, although I have to tell myself every time not to use it because it covers very little. In general, I really like warm colours, for example burgundy. Cold tones include bluish and greens.
