Endless color combinations
Preparation
Cleaning
Before the application, remove all traces of dust, grease and defects from the surface. Clean with acetone. Avoid common degreasers or diy solutions (such as ammonia + bicarbonate) that can compromise the adhesion.
Damaged supports
Remove old detached coatings. In case of serious crack, use 2k putty for wood.
Non porous surfaces
Slightly sand glass, plastic, marble or ceramic with 220 grit sandpaper. Clean with acetone.
Walls
Coat maximum 3/4 of the room surface, since Vintage Prestige is a non breathable coating.
Fabric and leather
It can be applied also on fabric and leather. On fabric, dilute up to 60% and slightly dampen the support. Avoid the use of softeners. Sand and touch up if cracks form. Not recommended on velvet and Alcantara.
Iron
Apply and antirust before coating.
Dilution
- Brush/roller: 10–15%
- Spray: 15–20% (ugello 2.0)
Application
- Apply on clean surface.
- Wait 2–4 hours between coats (depending on the environment).
Drying
- Final curing in 8 hours.
- Avoid thick layers to provide a perfect drying.
- Complete cross-linking process in 14 days: until the, avoid washing, adhesion test or aggressive agents.
