The coatings in the Vintage Prestige line have been tested in accordance with EN 71.3, the standard governing toy safety.

The EN 71.3 standard requires that the concentration of harmful heavy metals (such as lead, chromium, mercury, cadmium, and arsenic) be well below levels considered toxic. These coatings have such low levels of heavy metals that they are typically below the detection limit of the analytical instruments used.
