The same result can be obtained by means of liquid acid etching, but in this case, it is necessary to rinse accurately the substrate before spreading Floor Prestige. In both cases, it is fundamental removing completely the dust and grease with acetone. On this kind of surface it is recommended to add 4% of RY0406 Adhesion Promoter to Floor Prestige. Grout lines Clean mechanically with steel brush, then with acetone. Iron Apply an anti-rust, followed by Floor Prestige. Surfaces under extreme stress On surfaces under severe chemical and/or mechanical stresst (gym floorings, laboratories tiles, clinics, hair salons…) it is recommended to add 4% of RY0406 Adhesion The quantity to be added to the 2,5 L bottle of Floor Prestige is two 0,05 L bottles. The Adhesion Promoter strengthens the bond with the surface to be coated and increases the resistance of the coating. On floorings subject to heavy foot traffic, the resistance of Floor Prestige can be increased by applying a final coat of Matt Floorings and Furniture Topcoat (code RP2260) catalysed 10% with Solid2K (code XD5200).
