Our wood stains

The wood stain is a wood coating used for protecting the objects, exposed to atmospheric agents.

We are talking about doors, windows, garden furniture, fences. Rio Verde wood stains are water-based coatings that make the wood grain visible.

Rio Verde coloured wood stain

  • protects the wood of the door/window or of the garden furniture from humidity and biological attacks (moulds or fungi) by means of an extraordinary binder of nanometric dimensions
  • enhances the beauty of wood and colours it consistently thanks to special iron oxides, capable to absorb the UV rays
  • inhibits the oxidation of lignin, the main molecule of the wood
  • sets down in depth absorbers of free radicals, that can make the lignin safe and slow down the natural wood ageing
